Each trip also pays a mandatory $1.05 levy (0.90 $ plus taxes) on top of the meter, which funds compensation for former taxi permit holders.
The night rate applies to trips starting between 23:00 and 04:59. Fares include GST and QST.
Tolls and ferry costs can be added only if agreed with the passenger before departure.
Montréal-Trudeau Airport (YUL): flat fare between the airport and downtown Montréal of $49.45 (05:00–23:00) or $56.70 (23:00–05:00), levy included, regardless of the number of passengers. Other trips from the airport are metered with a minimum fare of $21.65 by day and $24.75 at night.
