Notes
These are maximum fares for trips with a loaded return to the rank (Tarif A by day 07:00–19:00, Tarif B at night 19:00–07:00, on Sundays and holidays, and on snowy or icy roads). Trips that oblige the taxi to return empty, usually trips leaving the Lyon area, use Tarif C (€2.00/km by day) or Tarif D (€3.00/km at night, Sundays and holidays). The meter moves in 10-cent drops.
The minimum fare of €8.00 includes supplements. Each passenger from the fifth on adds €4.00. Each bag that cannot go in the boot or cabin, and each suitcase beyond three per passenger, adds €2.00. Booking within the ZUPC adds €2.00 (immediate) or €4.00 (in advance), and the meter starts at the pick-up address.
Toll motorways are used only at the passenger’s express request and the toll is then added; the empty return trip can never be charged.
