Inside the city the meter charges €0.12 per 102 m (shown as €1.10/km) until the meter reaches €7.40 on weekdays (€9.70 Sundays/holidays, €11.30 nights), still €0.12 per 102 m in the second band to €8.60 (€10.90, €12.40), then €0.12 per 55.5 m (€2.10/km). Waiting or slow traffic is €30.10 an hour in the first band and €37.70 an hour after it.
Minimum fares: €5.80 weekdays, €8.10 Sundays and holidays, €9.70 at night. Trips leaving the Comune use tariff 2 at €2.10/km.
Supplements: €1.20 per bag (max 7) and per passenger beyond the third; €1.20 for trips starting or ending in the neighbouring comuni (Bagno a Ripoli, Calenzano, Campi Bisenzio, Fiesole, Impruneta, Lastra a Signa, Scandicci, Sesto Fiorentino, Signa); radio-taxi or phone booking €2.50 from Florence, €5.00 from neighbouring comuni. Supplements of type 1 are capped at €14.40 and type 2 at €5.00.
Discounts: 10% for women 21:00–04:00 (Taxi Rosa), 10% to and from the Careggi and Meyer hospitals, 15% for passengers with disabilities. Shared Happy Taxi/Disco Taxi fixed fares of €8.10 per person (3–6 people) run in the evenings.
