A flat fare of $6.00 applies to trips entirely within the downtown central business district (“Six in the City”).
Trips between the airports and set zones have flat fares: from George Bush Intercontinental (IAH) $36.04 to $110.71 by day and $37.04 to $111.71 at night; from Hobby (HOU) $27.56 to $91.10 by day and $28.56 to $92.10 at night. The lower of the flat fare or the meter is charged. Hobby’s own site lists $29 to downtown and $76 to IAH.
Night rates apply to trips starting between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Toll road fees are passed on at cost. No charge for hand luggage. Passengers aged 60 or over get a 10% discount with photo ID.
