Notes
The city sets a single meter rate at all times: $3.00 for the first 1/10 mile, then $0.30 for each further 1/10 mile ($3.00 per mile), plus $0.30 per minute of waiting time.
A $7.50 surcharge applies to each one-way handivan (wheelchair-accessible) trip, and a cleaning fee of up to $75 may be added if a passenger leaves bodily fluids in the cab.
Raleigh-Durham International Airport is outside the city limits and has its own exclusive taxi operator (Taxi Taxi); the airport does not publish its taxi fares, so trips from RDU may not follow the city rates.
